Return to Glory
A $4 million capital campaign, "Return to Glory," is underway at Arkansas Tech University to support the construction of a new residence hall at the stadium, revitalization of the football stadium, addition and enhancements to women's sports facilities and the addition of a permanent bandstand, according to Dr. Robert C. Brown, president, and Rick Thone, All-American member of the 1971 Tech team who is chairing the fundraising committee.
To date, board members, faculty and staff, along with a few generous key donors, have committed substantial pledges toward the $4 million goal. "The campaign is within reach of our goal for the first phase. We now turn to our alumni and friends for the remaining funds needed to guarantee victory," Thone said.
